Roasted Garlic

So many recipes call for the amazing taste and aroma of roasted garlic. Garlic alone has so many health benefits. Roasting garlic is very easy and the result tastes amazing when eaten alone, but it's at its best when added to foods such as appetizers, sauces or roasts.
Ingredients -
1 Garlic Bulb
 
Preparation:

1. Peel outer skin layer from head of fresh garlic, leaving cloves and head intact.

2. Place head on double thickness of foil

3. Top with 1 teaspoon olive oil and a sprig of fresh rosemary or oregano [or 1/4 teaspoon dried].

4. Fold up and seal.

5. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 1 hour.

6. Let cool.

7. Squeeze cloves to release roasted garlic and set aside.

8. Discard skins.
