Prosciutto with Figs

 
Ingredients -
8 Ripe Green or Black Figs, quartered and peeled
12 paper-thin slices Prosciutto Crudo
Crusty Bread, to serve
Unsalted Butter, to serve
 
Preparation:

1. Arrange slices of prosciutto on serving platter.

2. Wipe the figs with a damp cloth.

3. Cut them almost into quarters, but do not cut all the way through the base.

4. If the skins are tender, they may be eaten along with the inner fruit.

5. Arrange the figs on top of the prosciutto.
