Classic Guacamole

Everybody's favorite avocado dip. Made from fresh avocados, red onion, jalapeno pepper, fresh cilantro, and fresh lime juice. Dip is perfect for fresh homemade tortilla chips.
Ingredients -

1 ripe Hass Avocado, cut lengthwise, pitted
2 tablespoons minced Red Onion
1 tablespoon minced Jalapeno Pepper
1 tablespoon chopped Fresh Cilantro Leaves
1/2 Fresh Lime, juiced
Coarse Salt

 
Preparation:

1. Remove flesh from avocado and add to ceramic mixing bowl.

2. Mash avocado.

3. Stir in red onion, minced jalapeno, fresh cilantro, and fresh lime juice.

4. Season with salt.

5. Serve immediately.

 



Cooking Tip
Guacamole
Guacamole is best when its freshly made. If you have to store the guacamole for any length of time, press plastic wrap tight against the surface of the guacamole to avoid contact with oxygen, and discoloration.
